A Memory in the Making

BeLoved is our newest offering at BREADxCircus Studio. A private jewelry-making workshop designed to celebrate the cherished people and moments in your life. Whether you're a couple crafting a set of wedding bands, celebrating an anniversary, a pair of friends making friendship rings together, or relatives creating a meaningful future heirloom—this workshop strives to offers an intimate experience intended to be cherished as much as the objects you create with one another.

In the BELoved workshop, you’ll express this sentiment by designing and crafting a unique piece of jewelry for one another, made with intention, love, and care.

The Details

Cost: $460 CAD for two people ($230/pp)

What to Expect:

During this 3 hour session, each pair of guests will:

• Craft their own set of rings or a jewelry item out of wax: You’ll size, sand, shape, and prep your piece before casting.
• Receive hands-on guidance from our in-house designer, Elisabetta: She will work alongside each pair, helping to put the finishing touches on your designs.
• Once the wax model is complete, we’ll take care of the casting process, transforming your creation into a stunning silver or brass piece (up to 5 grams. gold available for an additional cost).
• After purchasing our workshop, please head here with your order number to book your appointment

Add-Ons

• $250 per additional guest
• 10, 14 or 18K jewellery cost priced at current market prices by weight. 

Additional Info:

• Included in the workshop is the final product in either silver or polished brass
• Currently, jewellery items are casted offsite and picked up 4- 5 weeks after carving
• Gold casting available for an additional cost by current gold prices
• Diamond x gemstone setting available by request for an additional fee

What are the current gold prices? What do you charge for gold?

Our 2025 gold prices per gram:
10K : $190 / gram
14K : $275 / gram
18K : $365 / gram

What is the average gold weight of a finished band?

While the weights can vary dramatically based on size, thickness and width, the average men's band (6MM, Size 10) is approximately 10 to 14 grams and the average women's band (4.5MM, Size 6/7) is approximately 5-7 grams.

Free Forms is a group workshop for up to 8 guests. Participants come together to create their own individual wax pieces that will be cast in sterling silver or brass (gold and other upgrades available on site). Come solo or bring a friend; you're invited to carve, shape, and explore in the company of others with malleable jewellers wax using simple hand tools. The results are always beautifully unexpected fluid forms that emerge from the process.

During this 2.5-hour session, you’ll:

• Work with jewellers wax using simple tools to create a one-of-a-kind piece

• Explore intuitive design methods and fluid form-making

• Receive guidance from our in-house designer, Elisabetta

• Have your finished wax cast in sterling silver or brass (up to 3 grams included)

• Enjoy light fare and refreshments in a warm, welcoming studio environment

Add-Ons:

• 10K, 14K, or 18K gold available at current market rates

• Additional weight beyond 3 grams available for purchase

• Stone setting, engraving and other available by request

Additional Info:

• All tools and materials provided including sketching materials. No experience necessary

• Jewelry pieces are cast offsite and will be ready for pickup or shipping 3–4 weeks after your workshop date (timing may vary with upgrades)

Meaningful Impressions — June 22 | In-Studio Session

Whether a child, a loved one or a beloved pet, place a fingerprint of someone you love on a one of one pendant. Come join us in studio this weekend for your own private 30 minute session. Customizations like engravings and other add-ons available day of on site.

PRICING:

Each organic pendant and signet style is handmade exclusively for you by BREADxCircus. We will have one pendant style in various sizes and weights as well as two signet styles to choose from—see the photos in the listing for reference. Your $65 ticket is a deposit and will be deducted from the final cost of your jewellery item. Pricing is based on current April 2025 market prices for precious metals.

AFTER YOUR SESSION:
Your finished piece with add-ons will be cast, polished, and ready for pickup or shipping within 2 weeks. While we will try our best to ensure they're ready, please note pendants from May 02 + 03 sessions are not guaranteed to be ready in time for Mother’s Day Weekend.*
